The Kremlin

The Moscow Kremlin is one of the largest architectural and town planning ensembles in the world. It is located in the center of the capital of Russia on a high hill above the Moscow River. The height of the walls of the Kremlin, narrow loopholes, battlegrounds, the dimensional step of the towers - everything suggests that first of all it is a fortress. But it is necessary to enter the Kremlin - and the impression is changing. On an area of 28 hectares there are spacious squares and beautiful squares, majestic palaces and an abundance of temples.

Street Arbat

Arbat is the same symbol of the capital, as the Kremlin, Red Square or St. Basil's Cathedral. The street name comes from the Arabic word “arbad” (“rabad”), which translates as “suburb, suburb”.

Tretyakov Gallery

The historic building, which houses the collection of the founder of the Gallery Pavel Mikhailovich Tretyakov (since 1856). Here you can see more than 1300 works of Russian art of the XI - beginning of the twentieth century - from pre-Mongolian icons and mosaics to landscape, portrait and historical painting, including such world-famous masterpieces as Andrei Rublev's “Trinity” and Alexander Ivanov’s “Appearance of Christ to the People”. The work of great artists V.I. Surikov, V.V. Vereshchagin, I.E. Repin, V.A. Serov and others.
